The summer crew has officially arrived at the home site to kick off the recovery efforts following the intense spring breakup. Before the heavy lifting of the 2027 Extravaganza can begin, this season is all about clearing the site, laying out the new location, and getting the posts and pad foundation started.

Clearing a home site and laying out foundation posts requires serious energy. The crew is already breaking in the camp setup and brewing up some Essential Services Coffee to keep the momentum going strong.

It's not all work and no play on the Kuskokwim. The crew has already hit the water and successfully brought in some beautiful red and king salmon to keep the camp well-fed during the rebuilding efforts.
